AutoRek Bolsters US Team with Appointment of Dan Kanowith as Presales Manager

AutoRek, a global leader in reconciliation and financial control automation for financial services, today announced the appointment of Dan Kanowith as US Presales Manager. The hire signals AutoRek’s further commitment to significant investment in the North American market following last year’s expansion.

Kanowith brings over 20 years of financial services experience, spanning capital markets operations, derivatives expertise, and fintech presales leadership. Most recently, he served as Senior Presales Consultant at FIS Global, where he specialized in cross-asset trading and risk management solutions.

“Dan’s appointment represents a significant part in the buildout of our team in the US and expansion strategy in this market,” said Jack Niven, VP of North America at AutoRek. “His deep understanding of capital markets operations, combined with his proven presales track record, makes him ideally positioned to help us capitalize on the significant opportunities we’re seeing across capital markets.”

Kanowith’s appointment comes at a time of increasing demand for automated reconciliation solutions in the US market. Recent AutoRek research shows that 79% of asset management firms are struggling with current reconciliation processes, while daily transaction volumes are expected to increase by 39% over the next two years.

“The US market represents enormous potential for AutoRek’s solutions,” said Kanowith. “Financial institutions are grappling with unprecedented data volumes and complexity while still relying heavily on manual processes. I’m excited to help demonstrate how AutoRek’s intelligent automation can transform their operations and drive measurable ROI.”

Prior to FIS, Kanowith held senior pre-sales roles at SimCorp and served as a Senior Financial Data Analyst at Clearwater Analytics. His earlier career included senior operations and trading positions at major investment banks including Société Générale, JP Morgan Chase, and Bear, Stearns.
