ClearBank selects AutoRek to drive real-time innovation in financial operations

ClearBank, the enabler of real-time clearing and embedded banking, has selected AutoRek, the financial control platform trusted by leading global institutions, to deliver scalable reconciliation capabilities.

As ClearBank’s transactions grew by 55% in 2024, AutoRek’s platform has enabled the organisation to transform its financial operations infrastructure, moving from time-consuming processes to rapid configuration of complex reconciliations while maintaining agility and regulatory compliance.

AutoRek’s no-code interface has provided ClearBank with a unified reconciliation platform that handles both transactional and cash reconciliation across multiple payment schemes, enabling real-time visibility and reporting while eliminating the operational bottlenecks that traditional approaches create in high-volume digital banking environments.

By selecting AutoRek, ClearBank can continue scaling its innovative banking infrastructure and achieve new levels of operational efficiency in the digital banking landscape.

“Digital banking providers face operational demands that manual processes simply can’t support”, said Nick Botha, VP, Payments & Retail Banking at AutoRek. “Traditional reconciliation approaches can’t handle the volumes and complexity of modern payment flows. ClearBank represents the future of banking infrastructure – technology-driven, scalable, and built for real-time operations. Working with them demonstrates how the right reconciliation platform becomes a strategic enabler, not just a compliance requirement.”

“As ClearBank continues to scale, we need a reconciliation platform that will keep pace with our volume of transactions while giving us flexibility, control, and speed to market,” said Richard Draper, Head of Finance Operations at ClearBank. “With AutoRek, we can generate reconciliations much faster without overloading our team. Most tools are either strong on transactional reconciliations or on balance substantiation, but rarely both. AutoRek does both well and integrates them seamlessly into our Microsoft Azure-first strategy.”
