Chris Livesey

CEO

Chris has 30 years of experience in global software and technology businesses – building, selling, and implementing innovative products and services. He has a keen focus on bringing people together to deliver outstanding business results and success for customers, and enjoys creating a strong vision as much as delivering on the details. In leading teams from 25 people to 1500+ people in businesses with revenues from £50m to over £1.5bn he has consistently developed and mobilised diverse, high-performing teams that make great things happen.

At AutoRek, Kenny has played a key role in the company’s continued evolution and growth.

He joined AutoRek in 2020 from customer feedback management platform Rant and Rave, where he served as its CEO.

With a wealth of financial leadership and operational management experience under his belt, Kenny has a proven track record of delivering substantial growth in the software and technology sector – both in the UK and internationally.

His background also includes a 14-year tenure at Verint – previously Graham Technology – where he held a number of senior roles, including CEO, COO and EMEA Managing Director.

Martyn Ward

International senior executive with a proven track record of repositioning businesses for growth and dramatic P&L/balance sheet improvements, in volatile economic and industry climates. Demonstrated ability to systematically hone in on strategic imperatives, develop game-changing operating plans, which create a sustainable competitive advantage and employ a disciplined approach to execute those plans. Build and focus teams by clearly defining objectives, establishing key metrics for success and the rigor to follow-up and recognize success. Lived and worked internationally, with a passion for emerging markets and establishing new ones.

Andrew Davison

Partner

Andrew leads new investments at SEP and has been investing in technology companies for over 20 years. He has an extensive network spanning key advisors as well as technology entrepreneurs and non-executives.

Andrew co-led SEP’s recent investments in global Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity platform Pelion and Glasgow headquartered, regulatory and financial data management software specialist, AutoRek; he sits on the boards of both companies. He is also currently non-executive director of CCaaS/CX provider Content Guru and led SEP’s £25 million investment into the company.

Andrew was non-executive director of luxury omni-channel fashion retailer Matchesfashion.com and was actively involved in the company’s strategy and growth prior to Apax Partners’ acquisition of a majority stake. Other deals include SEP’s investment in online car finance specialist Zuto and cloud-based document collaboration company Workshare which was acquired by Litera Microsystems in July 2019.

Taylor Rampton

Principal

Taylor is based in our London office and focuses on identifying, executing and managing growth stage technology investments. His areas of focus include vertical software companies selling into the financial services and life science sectors, as well as large enterprise, mission critical horizontal software companies.

He was a key member of the deal teams which led SEP’s recent investments into drug discovery and design software vendor Cresset, regulatory and financial data management software specialist AutoRek, and API management platform Tyk. He was also heavily involved in progressing SEP’s investments in scientific informatics software company Dotmatics (acquired by Insightful Science) and global payroll software provider Immedis (acquired by UKG).

Taylor joined SEP in March 2017 from BlackRock Private Equity Partners and is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
